SecureHire uses advanced facial recognition to create a unique digital signature for each candidate. SecureHire conducts a background check by cross-referencing the unique digital signature of potential and current employees against a secure database. This comprehensive approach helps mitigate risks associated with fraudulent documents or identification.

AI-powered Tools

The platform utilizes AI to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process. By automatically scoring applicants based on their profile and job, summarizing CVs, generating job descriptions, and providing templates for CVs and cover letters, it streamlines the entire hiring workflow.

Background Checks And Psychometric Assessments

SecureHire includes checks on previous employment, ID verification, DHA photo comparison, credit reports, education & qualifications, criminal records, and AML and sanctions screening. SecureHire offers two forms of psychometric assessments: a personality questionnaire and a cognitive ability assessment.

Previous Employment Check

The service scans employee information against a database of individuals who have been flagged for misconduct, fraud, theft, or similar offenses. It employs state-of-the-art facial recognition technology to verify employee identity and also cross-references their ID number, email, and phone number against the flagged database.

ID Verification

ID Check confirms ID number authenticity, extracts essential individual details, aiding businesses in fraud prevention and regulatory compliance through accurate governmental data.

DHA Photo Comparison

DHA PhotoComp compares an individual’s ID document and/or selfie to the photo held at the Department of Home Affairs.

Credit Report

The service provides a credit snapshot report with a summary of an individual’s credit profile and their credit score.

Education & Qualifications Check

The Education Background Check verifies the authenticity of applicants educational qualifications and includes, Matriculation (Umalusi, Post-1992), Matriculation (Department of Education, Pre-1992), Other Umalusi Qualifications, Certifications, N Level Qualifications and Tertiary Academic Qualifications.

Criminal Record Check

This service screens for any existing criminal records for an individual within South Africa’s criminal database.

AML & Sanctions Screening

This service screens a globally comprehensive list of individuals in the following categories: Regulatory enforcement lists, Politically Exposed Person (PEP) lists, Adverse media lists, Reputational risk exposure, Insolvency, Disqualified directors and Profile of interest.

Psychometric Assessments

SecureHire offers two forms of psychometric tests, a personality questionnaire and a cognitive ability test.

Personality Questionnaire

The Personality Questionnaire is built upon the well-accepted “Big 5” concept of core personality traits. While these factors have been given various names, we have chosen to label them as CLUES, an easily-remembered acronym that precisely captures their intended usage – CLUES about the nature of the person being assessed. These five independent factors are:
1. Conscientious: (Conscientiousness)
2. Likeable: (Agreeableness)
3. Unconventional: (Openness)
4. Extroverted: (Extraversion)
5. Stable: (Neuroticism)

Cognitive Ability Assessment

The Cognitive Ability Test measures problem solving and learning speed by assessing verbal, numerical and spatial reasoning then combining these to create one overall cognitive ability score. Our assessments include two tiers: standard and advanced. The advanced tests are designed for candidates seeking more technically demanding positions.
